A Shopify storefront for a Bhutanese-run activewear brand, built to let photography and product do the talking while making it easy to shop from anywhere in the world.
The Lingpa Smart Wear is a performance apparel brand founded in 2026 on the idea of clothing that moves with you. It is part of the wider Lingpa family, alongside The Lingpa Entertainment, and the store needed to carry the same identity through a different kind of product.
I configured the store end to end in Shopify: products and variants, Men's and Women's collections, the home page with its lifestyle carousel and featured collection, catalog sorting and filters, and the policy and size chart pages.
Payments are fully integrated, so customers can check out with cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and Shop Pay. Because the brand sells internationally, I also set up around 50 countries and regions with local currency pricing and five languages (English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic).

Key Features
Sell globally from day one
Around 50 countries and regions with local-currency pricing, and a storefront available in English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic.
Frictionless checkout
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and Shop Pay, so shoppers can pay the way they already prefer.
Clear catalog structure
Men's and Women's tops and bottoms as collections, with sorting and availability filters across the full range.
Brand-led home page
A full-width lifestyle carousel and a featured collection put the photography and the best-sellers first.
Fewer support questions
A size chart plus shipping, refund, and terms pages answer the usual pre-purchase questions up front.
Owner-friendly management
Products, prices, and orders are all managed from the Shopify admin, with no developer needed day to day.
How It Came Together
- 1
Structure the catalog
Organised the range into products, variants, and four collections so shoppers can browse by gender and type.
- 2
Configure the store
Set up the home page sections, navigation, policy pages, and the size chart.
- 3
Open up the markets
Enabled international selling with local currencies and translated the storefront into five languages.
- 4
Integrate payments
Connected the payment methods and walked through checkout end to end before launch.
Technical Implementation
Configuring a store that can sell to a global audience from day one — multiple currencies, languages (including right-to-left Arabic), and several payment methods — while keeping checkout simple and the store easy for the owner to manage.
"For a clothing store, the best interface is the one that gets out of the way of the product."
Outcome
The store is live at thelingpasmartwear.com, ready to sell internationally from launch, and the owner can manage products, prices, and orders directly from the Shopify admin.
