Notes kept in the margins — not for the portfolio, just for whoever went looking.
We lost millions of battles,
and returned to fight again.
After years of rain,
Got glimpse of sunlight,
Which gently got covered,
And replaced by moon.
It never speaks, but never leaves,
It moves unseen through all we keep,
It walks beside the hands we hold,
You flew through storms,
with your wings soaked in rain,
to land on my petals,
and you said you would try forever.
I was only beginning to bloom,
The mountains stood still,
the streets were alive,
Beneath a sky that lost its blue,
The world turned strange, the skies withdrew.
Some promises dissolved like rain,
Leaving echoes without a name.
Universe blinked
and called it life,
briefly everything,
life is a box of scattered pieces,
some searching for gold,
some searching for hands.
some fall in love with castles,
forgetting they were built
